Medea as a silent figure awaiting to enact her tragedy: sacrificing her children, contaminated by the horrors of war and the blood spilt by a betraying father and a fratricidal mother.
From her runway-altar Medea offers the audience the refusal of social conventions, woman, wife and mother, becoming an individual landscape and myth.
“Medeamaterial is like a distant landscape, a muddy pond or toilet in a psychiatric hospital, where the body synthesises and decomposes eating words and vomiting expression” H. Müller
